Regarding 5th condition, Sqs. ingqt. oblige Executive assurances to cover materials for Equipment and construction of the railway but I feel doubtful if we shall get such assurances so with as our other requirements.
Condition 6 is general. On Extension of the Canton Hankow railway to Kowloon, I omit the canvassing of Canton with Kwang Chan lan but I leave its execution entirely to your discretion.
